Data deletion

Effective 11 October 2026, version 2026-10-11

On this page7 sections

This page explains how to delete the personal data SocialPulse holds about you: your SocialPulse account, and the data that comes from social accounts you connected to it (Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn and X; YouTube and TikTok once they can be connected). It also explains what happens when you remove SocialPulse from your account on one of those platforms.

You do not need a SocialPulse account to ask us to delete your data. What we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy.

1.Ways to delete your data

  • Delete your SocialPulse account in the app: Settings, Privacy & data.
  • Disconnect a social account in the app: Accounts.
  • Remove SocialPulse on the platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Google or TikTok), and for Facebook, ask it to delete your data.
  • Write to our grievance officer, with or without an account.

2.Delete your SocialPulse account

  1. Sign in and open Settings, Privacy & data.
  2. Choose Delete my account and confirm.

Your request is recorded at once, and we aim to complete it within 30 days. We delete your account and personal data across the service, disconnect the social accounts you connected and delete their access tokens. Content you created for a workspace stays with that workspace without your name. Billing records are kept for 7 years because the law requires it.

You can also download a copy of your data first, from the same page (Request a copy of my data).

3.Disconnect a social account

Open Accounts and choose Disconnect on the account. At once, we stop using it, delete its access tokens from our database and ask the platform to cancel our access: for X and LinkedIn straight away; for Facebook and Instagram when the last Page or account you connected with the same Facebook login is disconnected, because one Facebook login covers all of them.

The account's name and id stay in the workspace, marked as disconnected, so its published posts keep their reference. Posts you already published stay on the platform; delete them there if you want them gone.

4.Remove SocialPulse from a platform

You can remove SocialPulse's access from the platform itself. The menu names below are the platforms' and may change.

Removing SocialPulse from each platform

We disconnect every Page and Instagram account you connected, in every workspace, and delete their access tokens. If you also ask Facebook to delete your data, we delete those connected accounts entirely and Facebook gives you a confirmation code you can check here.
LinkedInOn LinkedIn: Settings, Data privacy, then the services you have allowed to use your account; remove SocialPulse. Our access stops working. The account shows as needing to be reconnected. To delete what we still hold about it, disconnect it in the app or ask us (below).
X (Twitter)On X: Settings, Security and account access, Apps and sessions, Connected apps; revoke SocialPulse. As for LinkedIn.
